Tanhai episode 19 a Review

Arzoo clearly underestimated Mohsin. He is a threat to the devious plan that she had laid out so carefully. Everything is going her way, Faaiz has agreed to take her back, without any bitter feelings and any impression that Jiya had left on him or the house. She was right. She gets everything she wants. Whether it’s abandoning her children or going back to them, everything is her choice. Others play along to her advantage without even knowing it whether it’s Zubair or Faaiz. Everyone except Mohsin. He is the only problem she is currently facing.Some would argue that she shouldn’t be so materialistic and give everything up to Mohsin but I disagree. She has worked really hard for years to build the empire she rules and everything rightfully belongs to her. It is plain wrong for anyone to expect or suggest that she should leave what is legally hers.On the other hand, Jiya is in a dilemma. While her family has assured her that they wouldn’t stop her if she wants to file for divorce she still can’t get rid of the love and affection she has for Faaiz and his kids. And Zubair isn’t helping much by declaring his undying love for her in front of his mother. Though I never liked the woman, her reaction on his demand was justified. And I don’t understand why he is so Faaiz’ mother naturally sided with Jiya. No matter what Faaiz told her about Jiya’s supposed affair she didn’t believe him and when she couldn’t sway him, she did the next best thing: call Jiya. The call from Faaiz’ mother, telling her to kick Arzoo out of her house and go back in Faaiz’ life has left Jiya more confused than ever. When all her moves seemed feeble, she took a much more decisive step and sent the kids back home.The kids are finally back but aren’t happy by the fact that they would have to wait for Mommy dearest instead of Jiya. The fact that Arzoo wasn’t there to receive them at home when they arrived from London didn’t help much. Now Faaiz is facing opposition from his own kids who want him to bring back their step mom instead of their real mother. I can’t wait to see how it all ends.
