Jiya Na Jaye Episode 5

The play has come to a very interesting point. After seeing the last night’s chapter it kept me wandering about what would happen next in Saba’s life, now that her father has died and both mother and daughter have left their house because of Sadiq? But I was thinking that if we look on the brighter side it was a good thing for Saba to leave Sadiq’s house in one way or the other, no matter what the circumstances were. Had she not left his house, she had not been able to get rid of Sadiq’s oppression. Yet the question is still there. Even after leaving the house, will Sadiq be able to find Saba again? I should appreciate Fazila Qazi’s and Fatima Affendi’s acting talents. I assume that Fazila Qazi being a seasoned actress since the PTV era, feels quiet comfortable to act with a new talent like Fatima Affendi who is an emerging pack of performing skills, I must say J Although at a very young age she truly possesses the abilities that could help her in future to stand in line with the brilliant actors of our industry. Wish you good luck Fatima!Since the last week’s episode some new faces have appeared in the play. Last week Adeel Hussain as Akaam Siddiqui and this week Myra Khan as Shahla Niazi who met Sadiq accidently, I mean a real accident LOL :D , Hira Tareen as Rakshi who is Akaam’s friend and Saife Hassan as the artist. It seems that Akaam is now searching for Maryam (Saba because she did not tell him her real name) and that he would not stop until he finds her, “Mein kisi ko dhund raha hu, jab wo mil jayegi to sab theek hojayega”. All I was wandering about was why a guy like Yakaan would be interested and so curious about a girl like Saba a very simple and seedhi saadi larki. Another important thing in this episode was the role of Khurram who helped the mother and daughter a lot in the time when they really needed someone. He had helped them more than what a relative could have done. Especially in the times when Saba was facing troubles at Sadiq’s house and in the matter of getting the house sold after Mirza Sahab’s death. This guy has been great help to Saba and her mother. At this point one thing came to my mind, that where there is a strong foe like Sadiq there is also other people around Saba like Sharmeen and Khurram to help her. A fun fact for all who watch Jiya Na Jaye is that both Saba and Sadiq met other people like Yakaan Siddiqui and Shahla Niazi through an accident. Both were hit by their cars respectively :P (good thing they both didn’t hit and run LOL :D )And this is how the story has reached certain new turns – from closed and suffocating doors to wider spots like Shahla’s house whose riches has blinded Sadiq. The character of Shahla Niazi to me in the first place looks quiet closer to a strong independent woman who knows her art of taking control. I’m just guessing that in the further episodes she would reveal her strength and would use Sadiq for her own good. I think that in the next episode a new page of the story will turn up. Some more new faces and some other angles from the drama will be revealed. Just waiting to watch where this will all go.
